Muse Meet-ups

In 2026, Creating the Muse will begin to step off the page and into the room.

Muse Meetups are an expansion of the magazine — intimate, in-person gatherings across Queensland, from Brisbane to Toowoomba, the Currumbin Valley, and Noosa. These gatherings bring together creative women for conversation, connection, and shared experience, while also informing and shaping future editions of Creating the Muse.

At its heart, this work brings together the things I’ve always loved — being in conversation with inspiring women, collaborating creatively, and gathering around food, beauty, and place. Muse Meetups allow these worlds to meet under one editorial umbrella, where conversation, creativity, and lived experience inform one another naturally.

Think editorial, but lived.
Long tables. Slow mornings. Shared meals.
Conversations that don’t rush to conclusions.

Each Muse Meetup will be curated in collaboration with different creatives — florists, designers, chefs, artists, and cultural practitioners — allowing every gathering to carry its own texture, tone, and point of view.

There is no networking here.
No hustle.
No performance.

Just women coming together beautifully — to talk, listen, create, and spend time in spaces that feel grounded, generous, and alive.
